Department of Physics imparts quality education for students to find the best suited possibilities for their career.
The Physics department was established since the inception of the college in the year1968.It has grown considerably with a vision to establish a platform that facilitates the dissemination and creation of knowledge through teaching and learning in Physics at the graduation level by providing them with extensive and diverse knowledge in the Physics.
The department is presently headed by Dr. S. N. Bhosale and it has a permanent staffs and experienced guest faculty. To stay up with academic trends around the world, the department offers an undergraduate curriculum. For the students overall growth, the department places an emphasis on experiential learning through seminars, workshops, guest lectures and exhibitions. The department has fully equipped three laboratories and is continuously upgrading itself according to the changing curriculum. The department laboratory is spacious which includes dark room, staff room, Computer, internet facility, department library available to staff and students and uninterrupted solar power supply. The objective of the Physics department is to give our pupils a foundation in physics through theories and practicals, which will enable them to pursue any career they choose.
